Motorcycle Insurance

Why Choose Us?

When you are enjoying a relaxing Sunday drive the last thing you want to do is worry about insurance.  Let us help you make the right choices so you can get back to enjoying the freedom of the road.

What's Included

Pays for injury, death and damages you may be responsible for as the result of a car accident.  It also pays for defense costs associated with the accident.

This coverage extends your policy to make sure you are insured even if the other driver does not have insurance.

Pays for your car to be fixed when you are not at fault in a car accident.  Will also pay for your rental vehicle while your vehicle is being repaired.

Accident Benefits are also known as no fault insurance.  It is important to look at the limits and conditions, which are set by the government.  Generally it pays for a portion of your income if you are unable to work, for medical expenses not covered by OHIP, Funeral Expenses, Housekeeping Expenses and provides for help around the house if you are unable to do your daily chores.  This is one of the most important parts of your policy, which means it is extremely important you understand what is covered, and if you have enough coverage.  Our brokers are more than happy to explain your options.

What's Optional

Pays to repair damage to your own vehicle if you are at fault, for hit and run accidents, as well as single car accidents.

Pays to repair the damage to your vehicle from fire, theft, lightning, windstorm, hail, earthquake, explosion, riots, falling objects, vandalism and more.

If you are hurt as the result of a motorcycle accident, you will rely on Accident Benefits to provide you with the medical help you require.  Unfortunately the basic mandatory benefits are quite minimal, however there are options to help protect you when you need it most.

Accessories such as saddle bags, side cars, back seat extensions etc are not automatically covered under your motorcycle policy.  Most companies offer additional coverage for these items if they are damaged.

Other Things to Consider

If you decide to modify your motorcycle in any way from stock, PLEASE TELL US.  Your policy will not pay for an accident if your motorcycle is modified and you did not let your insurance company know.  It doesn’t matter what kind of modification from changing paint, to exhausts, grips, windshields etc – you have to inform your insurance company about any change.

Yes it doesn’t seem very fun to spend your entire weekend at another driving school, but these schools give you useful tools to be safe while driving your motorcycle.  Insurance companies recognize their value with discounts which can lower your rate significantly if you are a new driver.  Many colleges offer driving schools from the spring to the fall every year.

If you are not sure how much your motorcycle is worth and you are worried about replacing it after an accident, it is worth it to have a professional appraisal for your bike.
